Beat licence matrix
Can I sell CDs or vinyl of this song?
Premium (WAV) licence
On the Premium (WAV) tier, sell physical copies is permitted up to a cap as these agreements are ordinarily written. Physical sales carry their own unit cap on lease tiers, counted separately from streams.
The trap
The physical cap is frequently much lower than the stream cap and is easy to miss because it sits in a different clause.

The same question on every other tier
| Licence tier | Sell physical copies |
|---|---|
| Free (tagged) | Not permitted |
| Basic (MP3) | Permitted up to a cap |
| Trackout / Stems | Permitted up to a cap |
| Unlimited lease | Permitted |
| Exclusive rights | Permitted |
What this tier is
Same rights shape as Basic with a higher-quality file and higher caps. Still non-exclusive. Typical price: $40–80.
Scope limit. This models the STANDARD form of each tier. Any individual agreement overrides it. Where a cell says 'depends', the answer is genuinely contract-specific and no general resource can resolve it.
