Distribution alone does NOT collect them. Its artist-facing subsidiary works directly with The MLC only for publishing-administration clients, and only once compositions are registered in the publishing dashboard.

Worth knowing about Believe
- ★ The 50% SYNC COMMISSION on its DIY tier is the most under-noticed number in this matrix. It more than doubled in 2023 and can be opted out of in the publishing dashboard.
- Distributing does NOT get you your MLC money. That needs the separate paid publishing product.
- Nobody in this stack does SoundExchange for you. You are told to go collect it yourself.
